This has been a bit of an exercise in minimalism. My crew on Luna has benefitted from me purging a lot of Rocko, Lazlo and basic animation stuff to lighten the load to move abroad. My family is there while I travel back to LA to sell the house and put affairs in order. And to finish up the details for working from my studio in my house. I’m jumping through a lot of hoops to work with the rules of European visas, business, car buying, etc. But I’m quite excited about it. My 6 and 2 year old boys love it and will start in a new school in a couple of weeks.

My only complaint right now is not getting back to my new home country. I’m already making new business contacts to keep producing and creating. It’s time for me to exit LA after having been here since 93 when I moved for Rocko. It’s a new chapter.

  1. The room was just great. Nicely furnished and has everything you need. The view from the mountain view balcony was amazing. Kitchen is accessorized. The bed is special and comfortable. Private parking. Lovely hosts that help you with recommendations. Speak perfect English. Location of the studio is very close to the cable car. Moreover, Chamonix is a beautiful town.
